Transformative Structure

The sculpture is an exploration of rhythmic structure through the repetition of subtly shifting organic shapes. Simple organic lines overlap and fuse on each of the 60 layers of the sculpture, creating chromosome-like forms, which are each unique, yet referential to each other. The sculpture becomes fixed evidence of this transitional movement.
